Maryam Abdulmalik

Founder and CEO

Maryam brings over a decade of leadership and innovation across climate-smart agriculture, agribusiness development, gender inclusion, and community empowerment. As Founder and CEO of Green Growth International, she has led transformative programs in rural Nigeria, enabling climate resilience, agribusiness expansion, and inclusive economic growth.

She previously served as an Assistant General Manager in the agribusiness sector, and Interventions Coordinator at the Foreign Commonwealth Development Office Project — LINKS Nigeria,  combining communications, strategy, marketing & sales expertise with stakeholder engagement across international development, government, private sector, donors, and grassroots communities. Maryam also serves as President of the Advanced Foundation for Girls and Youth Concerns, guiding youth and women’s empowerment initiatives. 

Dahiru Mukhtar
Director, Technical and Strategy

Dahiru is a Technical Consultant and Researcher in Agriculture, an Agribusiness and Project Management Professional with extensive technical knowledge and field experience in Nigeria’s agricultural ecosystem  providing technical services, private-public partnership and other stakeholder management, designing and implementing various agricultural, climate smart, and private sector-led market development projects across different value chains in Nigeria. Dahiru has enormous expertise in managing diverse and multi-disciplinary project and consultants’ team, broad interest in agriculture and climate change issues and strong competence in developing interventions, and facilitation of training sessions for small holder farmers and other value chain actors coupled with effective scoping, priority setting and resource allocation to maximize added value as well as experience in different donor protocols. Additionally, his technical expertise spans farmer field schools and productivity enhancement technologies, agribusiness and value chain development, project monitoring and evaluation, and the creation and management of innovation platforms for technology adoption for smallholder farmers. Dahiru is also well regarded in agricultural consultancies in policy and development planning, value chain studies, feasibility analysis, data management and analysis, technical report development, project development and assessments, training manual, concept note and proposal development. Dahiru holds a PhD and Masters in Animal Science and a first class bachelor’s degree in Agriculture with certificates in MEAL and Project Management in addition to several professional courses.

Halimat Abdulmalik
Director Special Projects

Halimat Abdulmalik is a seasoned and compassionate health professional with nearly two decades of experience in public health nursing, midwifery, and maternal-child health advocacy. She currently serves as the Director of Specialist Projects at Green Growth International, where she brings her passion for health equity, child development, and community-based care into action through strategic programming and implementation.

She became a Registered Nurse in 2007 and a Registered Midwife in 2013, and currently serves as an Assistant Chief Nursing Officer in a reputable healthcare facility. Halimat integrates her medical expertise with managerial and community mobilization skills to lead impactful projects that promote maternal, child, and adolescent health.

Salim Abdulmalik

Director, Sales and Marketing 2

Salim Abdulmalik is a dynamic and results-driven sales professional with over six years of progressive experience in sales and marketing, business development, and client relationship management. Salim’s career journey is a testament to passion, resilience, and a keen instinct for market trends and customer needs.

With a strong foundation in strategic sales execution, Salim has successfully led sales teams, opened new markets, and built solid distribution networks across Nigeria’s agribusiness and commodity trading landscape. His ability to connect with clients, drive revenue growth, and negotiate high-value deals has made him an invaluable asset to Green Growth International.

As Director of Sales and Marketing, Salim oversees product positioning, customer engagement strategies, and expansion into new regional and international markets. He brings a practical, hands-on approach to driving sales performance, combined with a deep understanding of grassroots market realities—qualities that enable him to bridge the gap between rural producers and high-end buyers.

Salim is passionate about empowering underserved communities through trade and economic participation, and he plays a key role in promoting Green Growth’s mission of inclusive growth and climate-smart entrepreneurship.

Abdulmalik Umar Abdulmalik

Director, Monitoring and Evaluation

Abdulmalik Umar Abdulmalik is a development professional with strong experience in project management, community engagement, and monitoring & evaluation. He is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Public Administration at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He has worked with organizations such as Connected Development (AGILE Project), FCDO-LINKS, and Advanced Foundation for Girls and Youth Concerns, where he led initiatives in education, agriculture, and hygiene promotion. Skilled in digital tools like KoboToolbox and ArcGIS, Abdulmalik is committed to gender equality, youth empowerment, and social transformation through impactful community programs.

 

 

BLESSING AMAJAMA

Senior Manager Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagements

Blessing Amajama is a dedicated social entrepreneur and advocate with a strong background in social development. She has spent several years leading initiatives and collaborating with various organizations, communities, and governments to create positive change. Her work reflects a deep passion for driving social impact.

As the founder of the Jama Africa Initiative, Blessing is committed to empowering marginalized communities and IDPs promoting sustainable development, and fostering youth leadership. Through this initiative, I have successfully implemented numerous projects, programs, and campaigns that have improved the lives of thousands of people.

Blessing Amajama is a vocal advocate for human rights, social justice, and youth empowerment. She has spoken at various national and international forums, sharing insights and expertise on issues related to sustainable development, youth leadership, and social entrepreneurship.

A skilled facilitator, trainer, and coach, Blessing has volunteered with diverse groups, such as UNWomen for March Women Shadowing Scheme, UNFPA/ Education as a Vaccine for Comprehensive Sexual Education among youths and Yiaga Africa.

Blessing Amajama holds a MSc in Environmental Engineering from Federal University of Technology Minna, Nigeria. Blessing Amajama is a recipient of several awards including the SEAL Social Development Consultant 2024 and recognition for outstanding contributions to social development and youth leadership.

Sakariyau Biodun Sikiru

Corporate Reporting, Advisory & Taxation

Sakariyau Sikiru Biodun is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a member of the Institute of Public Administrators of Nigeria. He is a highly motivated, deadline-committed, and goal-driven accountant with over 10 years of corporate experience and a proven track record of excellence. His areas of interest include Financial Reporting, Auditing, Taxation, Cost Control and Cost Management, Management and Business Consulting, Budgeting and Forecasting, and Regulatory Compliance.

 

He is the Lead Partner in Charge of Engagement at Macksons Fintax Limited. He holds a degree in Accounting (Second Class Upper) from Bayero University Kano and a Diploma in Accounting and Auditing (Upper Credit)  from the same university.

 

Sikiru has worked in various roles, including Audit Manager at G.E Osagie & Co (Chartered Accountants) and Zakari & Co (Chartered Accountants), Internal Control Officer at L & Z Integrated Farms Ltd, Lead Consultant at Cowry Asset and Management Ltd (as Accounting Officer on Reporting Accountant Engagement), Resident Accountant at Metrofile Holding Ltd (a South African quoted company), Consultant to the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service on Tax Audit Monitoring Agency (TAMA) engagement, Chief Finance Officer at Manz Contractors and Manzuwa Ventures Ltd, and serving resource personnel at Ammas & Co Limited. He has also served as an Accountant to Daria Media and Koidi Radio. Additionally, he has experience in foreign grant documentation, accounting, and modeling.

 

With his rich experience, Sikiru has supervised internal audits and liaised with external auditors for the successful computation of dues, filing of statutory audited annual reports, and prompt payment of taxes at both state and federal levels. He is adept at analytics and has in-depth reporting knowledge. Sikiru is also a certified system analyst proficient in SAP, Sage, Zoho, and related accounting software.
